Kraft paper

C1

Kraft paper is a flexible and resistant paper. It is 100% natural and therefore recyclable. It offers a higher resistance than other papers due to the natural wood fibre.

It is used for wrapping, packaging or as an internal filler.

Description

Inviker supplies kraft paper in 1st, 3rd and bicolour testliner grades.

Kraftliner 1st grade

1st grade kraft paper is a paper grade with a natural brown colour. It is made of chemical pulp from virgin, unbleached wood fibre and undergoes a short boiling process. It is highly resistant to bursting, tearing and traction. Also, it is very versatile in grammage and its applications.

At Inviker, machine glazed (MG) and ribbed 1st grade kraft paper is supplied as standard. This type of finish has a texture composed of darker but subtle perpendicular stripes and a slight gloss.

It is one of the most environmentally friendly materials. Recycled correctly, it can enter the production cycle up to seven times. In addition, the raw material uses 100% renewable resources.

Kraftliner 3rd grade

The 3rd grade paper is a 100% recycled that is very environmentally friendly as it is manufactured without the use of natural virgin fibres. It is an ideal option to contribute to recycling and avoid the massive felling of trees.

Despite being a recycled paper, 3rd grade kraft paper maintains the main characteristics of resistance and versatility. It is a cheaper alternative to 1st grade kraft paper.

Bicolour testliner

Two-colour testliner is a low performance and very economical paper. Its usual grammage is between 80 – 100 g/m2. This paper is mainly used as a liner for corrugated cardboard.

In the sized option, in grammages over 100 g/m2, this is the paper most commonly used by painters.
